RENT A CAR GENERAL CONDITIONS
PRICES INCLUDE:

PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE :

Fines, tolls, insurances for things and luggages transported and insurances for damages of tyres, car underbody, and parts made of glass (rear-view mirror included)

In any case, the following expenses have to be paid by customers:

In case of loss of car keys: € 125,00 + VAT (20%) - section 8 paragraph 1 of the General Conditions of the rental car contract
In case of crash or accident: € 75,00 + VAT (20%) for the cost of opening a new practice at the Insurance Company – section 5 paragraph 1 of the General Conditions of the rental car contract
In case of contraventions given on customers from local authorities: € 40,00 + VAT (20%) for costs incurred by the rental Company for the administrative management of contraventions (forwarding fine charges at the customers home address, etc…) - section 3 paragraph (c) of the General Conditions of the rental car contract
In case of contraventions given for highway paiement: € 50,00
Forwarding fine charges: € 2,50

EXTRA CHARGES AND NOTES:

Baby seat: to be adjusted directly on the spot at the car rental office
For P/U and/or D/O of the car far from the Europcar offices (airports and city) availability and extra charges on request

CONDITIONS

The car must be taken and returned at the same time
For delays of more than 29 minutes, compared to the time indicated on the rental contract, the rental company will require customers, directly ion the spot, at the moment of the car return, an extra charge equal to 1 additionnal day of rent
The car delivered by the rental company with fuel and at the signature of the rental contract is requested to customers a deposit by credit card, which is stamped on the contract, and whose amount is left blank (the customer must sign the contract in all its part). At the end of the car rental, if the car is returned without fuel, the company will deduct directly on bail the corresponding amount of missing fuel.
Attention: we recommend customers to return the car with full fuel
Opening time Europcar Office airports of Catania and Palermo: every day from 8 am to 11:59 pm
For the late arrivals after closing time (which means after 12pm and before 8am), the car rental company will require, directly on the spot, the payment of an extra charge of € 30,00 + VAT
