Itinerary:

1st day - Monday : Palermo
Arrival in Palermo. Transfer to the hotel by your own. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

2nd day - Tuesday: Palermo- Monreale- Palermo
After breakfast at hotel, in the morning, visit the city of Palermo including the Palatine Chapel, Palermo’s Cathedral. Continue to Monreale and visit the Cathedral as well as the Benedectine Cloister. Lunch at hotel. In the afternoon, time at leisure or possibility to participate to an optional excursion(to be paid locally) to Erice. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

3rd day - Wednesday : Palermo –  Agrigento – Piazza Armerina- Taormina area
Breakfast at hotel and departure to Agrigento, “The beautiest City of the Greek times”where it is possibile to admire the best well preserved Temples in the World. Visit of the Valley of the Temples. Departure to Piazza Armerina, situated in the heart of Sicily. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit to the splendid Villa romana del Casale, splendid Roman villa with its more than 3500 square meters of well preserved mosaics. Continue to Taormina. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

04th day - Thursday : Taormina area- Etna- Taormina area
Breakfast at hotel and, conditions permitting, excursion to Mount Etna the highest active vulcano in Europe. We will reach 1800 meters to admire the Sylvester Craters. Lunch at a local restaurant. Back to Taormina. Visit by your own of the Greek theatre and time at disposal to walk in the tiny streets of this worldwide known village. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

05th day – Friday-: Taormina area- Messina-Reggio Calabria- Catanzaro-Capo Rizzuto or Crotone.
Breakfast at hotel and depart to Messina where we will embark and leave Sicily to Reggio Calabria. Visit the Archaeological museum and in particular the magnificent “Bronzi di Riace”. Depart to Catanzaro. Lunch on the way. Panoramic visit of the city and leave to Capo Rizzuto , wonderful small city on the Jonic coast (for some departures accomodation could be in Crotone instead of Capo Rizzuto). Dinner and overnight at hotel.

06th day – Saturday: Capo Rizzuto or Crotone – Metaponto-Alberobello
Breakfast at hotel and depart to Croteone(in case the accommodation has been in Capo Rizzuto). Panoramic visit of the citu and depart to Metaponto: visit by your own of the archaeological area. Lunch in a local restaurant. Continue to Alberobello, magic city known for its Trulli which has been declared of the Unesco patrimony. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

07th day -Sunday : Alberobello – Matera - Paestum – Naples
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Matera, known for its Sassi, private houses built in the rock. Lunch on the road and depart to Paestum. Time at disposal to visit the archaeological area by your own. We will keep on to Naples. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

08th day – Monday: Naples – Pompei – Amalfi coast – Naples
Breakfast at hotel and depart to Pompei, where we will visit the rest of the city destroyed by the Vesuvio eruption in 79 b. C. Continue on to the Amalfi coast and panoramical visit, from the panoramical road of the two most characteristic villages: Positano y Amalfi. Lunch on the way. Back to Naples. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

09th day - Tuesday:  Naples – Capri – Roma
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Naples port and embark to Capri, the pearl of the area wich will touch us thanks to the beautiful landscapes. Lunch during the excursion. Back to Naples by hydrofoil and transfer to Rome. End of our services.
