Day One - Sunday:
Upon arrival you will be met by a representative and
transferred to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure. ()
Day Two - Monday:
After breakfast,
enjoy a half-day Valletta City Tour, including a visit to the
Upper Barracca Gardens overlooking the Grand Harbor, St. John’s
Co-Cathedral and the Grand Master’s Palace. Lastly, enjoy the
“Malta Experience,” a multi-vision show depicting Malta’s
history throughout the ages. Afternoon at leisure to explore
Malta, or to relax in the sun. (B)
Day Three - Tuesday:
After breakfast,
experience a full day Mdina/Rabat Tour. Visit Mdina, Malta’s “silent
city,” the cathedral and St. Catald’s Catacombs. After lunch
continue with a visit to the Mosta Dome, San Anton Botanical
Gardens, and Ta‘ Qali Crafts Village. (B, L)
Day Four - Wednesday:
After
breakfast, enjoy a sensational half-day Harbor Cruise sailing in a
pleasure boat through the Grand Harbor and Marsamxett Harbor, with
a running commentary on the history of Malta, and excellent photo
opportunities. Balance of the day at leisure. (B)
Day Five - Thursday:
After breakfast
transfer to the ferry port. Depart Malta by high speed Catamara. Arrival
at Pozzallo - a typical Sicilian fishing village. Met by fully
air-conditioned luxury coaches, accompanied by guides. Excursion
starts by crossing the second and third highest bridges in Europe
which pass over the Baroque town of Modica. Then onto the Iblei
Mountain Range with a view of the quaint villages among canyons.
Time for refreshments and photos. Drive up to Sylvester Craters of
Mt. Etna having time for lunch (not included in the price) and
souvenir shopping. Depart Mt. Etna for Taormina. Free time in
Taormina centre to enjoy the unique panoramic views overlooking
Giardini Naxos, a former Greek colony, now an international
yachting centre. Departure Taormina for Pozzallo, with a running
commentary by the guide. Departure by High Speed Catamaran at
2130hrs for Malta. (B)
Day Six - Friday:
After breakfast
enjoy a full day of local lifestyles and the south. Proceed through the
southern fishing villages of Marsaxlokk and Birzebbuga then on to
the fabled Blue Grotto*. After lunch, visit the Tarxien Temples
and the prehistoric caves of Ghar Dalam, where the earliest
inhabitants of this island resided. (*Boat trip is paid locally)

Day Seven - Saturday:
After
breakfast, enjoy a full day Gozo Tour. Your tour includes a
25-minute ferry crossing to Malta’s sister island of Gozo, with
wonderful photo opportunities along the way. A visit to the
Ggantija Prehistoric Temples (entrance paid locally), The Citadel in Victoria, Xlendi Bay
and Calypso’s Cave are all part of your tour. After lunch, enjoy
time for shopping in the local markets. (B, L)
Day Eight - Sunday:
Breakfast at your
hotel. Transfer to Malta International Airport for your flight
home. (B)
