Day 1 – 6 November – JFK -
London
Evening
departure from JFK to Malta via London. (D)
Day 2 - 7th November-
Arrival in Malta
Morning
arrival at London Heathrow Airport. Late morning departure for Malta.
Afternoon arrival in Malta. Private transfer by deluxe motor coach to
the 4* superior Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel. Welcome Dinner at the
hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 3 - 8th November-
Valletta Tour
Buffet
breakfast at your hotel. Full day walking tour with guide of Malta’s
capital; Valletta Visit the Upper Barracca Gardens for an incredible
photo opportunity, followed by St. John’s Cathedral, the Caravaggio
Museum, the Archeology Museum, the National Library, the War Museum and
the Grandmasters’ Palace and Armory. Attend the Malta Experience show
in the afternoon to get a better understanding of what Malta is all
about. Enjoy a typical Maltese lunch as well. Return to your hotel.

Day 4 - 9th November-
Palazzo Parisio, Meridiana Winery & Ta' Qali Crafts village
Buffet
breakfast at your hotel. Full day guided tour by deluxe motor coach with
licensed English-speaking guide. Tour Palazzo Parisio, a great house
exceptional in more senses then one: it is lavish and sumptuous; not
just another palace of the legendary and romanticized Knights of St.
John, but, quite differently, the ultimate memorial of the ambitious,
aspirations and pretentious of a noble 19th Century noble family. Then
enjoy the Meridiana Winery with lunch at Ta' Marija Restaurant. Finish
the day visiting Ta’ Qali Crafts Village to see how Malta’s world-famous
hand blown glass, silver filigree and lace are made. Return to your

Day 5 - 10th November-
Mdina, Rabat and Mosta Cathedral
Buffet
breakfast at your hotel. Full day guided tour by deluxe motor coach to
the medieval city of Mdina and the surrounding area. Visit the
Co-Cathedral of St. Paul, the bastions of Mdina, the Roman Villa, Casa
Bernard, St. Paul’s Grotto and St. Paul’s Catacombs among other exciting
places. Lunch at a typical Maltese restaurant. Stop at the famous Mosta
Dome Cathedral and San Anton Gardens on your return to the hotel. (B, L)
Day 6 - 11th November-
Historical Three Cities Excursion & Harbor Cruise
Morning
Buffet
breakfast at your hotel. Half-day guided tour by deluxe motor coach of
the original three cities of Malta; Senglea, Cospicua; and finally up to
Vittoriosa, which retains many interesting buildings including the early
Auberges of the Knights, their hospital, the Armory, the Treasury and
palaces connected with the Order's administration. Time for lunch.
Afternoon
Transfer
by coach from the hotel to Sliema waterfront for your afternoon cruise
of the Grand Harbor of Malta. Unfolds the history of Valletta and the
Three Cities connected with two Great Sieges of 1565 and 1942, as well
as all the other places of interest including the historical forts,
battlements and creeks which can only be admired from the sea. Return
to the hotel. Balance of day at leisure. (B)
Day 7 - 12th November-
Sicily Tour (optional)
Buffet
breakfast (for those going to Sicily continental breakfast due to early
departure).Transfer by motor coach from the hotel to Valletta Passenger
Terminal. Arrive in Pozzallo for an exciting full day excursion
visiting the highlights of southeast Sicily. Excursion starts by
crossing the second and third highest bridges in Europe which pass over
the Baroque town of Modica. Then onto the Iblei Mountain Range with a
view of the quaint villages among canyons. Time for refreshments and
photos. Drive up to Sylvester Craters of Mt. Etna having time for lunch
(not included in the price) and souvenir shopping. Fully escorted with
English-speaking guide. Return by ferry to Malta in the evening in time
for a late supper. For those not going to Sicily today is a free day to
explore Malta. Other optional excursions can be provided. (B)
Day 8 - 13th November-
Full Day Archeological Tour
Buffet
breakfast at your hotel. Start your day with a visit to the UNESCO
Heritage site, The Hypogeum. Then on to Tarxien, the “mother goddess.
Temple. Continue with a visit to the prehistoric caves of Ghar Dalam.
Stop for lunch, shopping and a photo opportunity at Marsaxlokk Harbor.
After lunch visit the famed Blue Grotto then on to two of Malta’s most
famous temples sites; Haqar Qim and Mnajdra. Followed by a walk along
the Dingli Cliffs high above the Mediterranean. Return to your hotel.

Day 9 - 14th November-
Gozo Jeep Safari
Buffet
breakfast. Full day Gozo Jeep Safari, including ferry, and typical
Gozitan lunch with wine included. Experience one of the most beautiful
parts of our Islands which are rarely visited by tourists. We avoid all
the usual tourist sites and concentrate on an action packed day full of
scenic beauty and fun. Our professional Safari leader will guide you
throughout the day via radio taking you to places that even most local
people do not know exist.
Return to
Malta for your Farewell Dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 10 - 15th November-
Departure from Malta
Continental breakfast at your hotel. Early private transfer from your
hotel to Malta Airport. Return flight to JFK via London. (B, L, S)
