Tour Description: Sightseeing tour begins with the Villa Borghese and Porta Flamina. Cross the river Tiber and see the Via Cola di Rienzo. In the Vatican City, during your visit to the Vatican Museum, you will admire the Hall of the Greek Cross, the Candelabri Gallery, the beautiful Tapestry Gallery, and the interesting cartographic study in the Geographical Maps Gallery. You will also enjoy the Raphael Rooms, entirely frescoed by the Master, The Sistine Chapel, with masterpieces by Botticelli, Signorelli, Perugino and, above all, the Genesis and Last Judgment by Michelangelo Buonarroti. This portion of the tour ends passing through the Apostolic Library. 

Lunch at a local restaurant. 

The afternoon begins on the Via Veneto and continues on to the Piazza Barberini with the Triton Fountain by Bernini. A visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, with the beautiful mosaics and relics of Jesus\' cradle, and the Basilica of St. John in Lateran (cathedral of the city and first Papal Residence). After a stop at the Holy Stairs, you visit the Old Appian Way, the Quo Vadis Chapel, the Santa Domitilla Catacombs (underground tunnels, burial places for Christians and Hebrews), the ruins of Caracalla Baths, and Aventine Hill. Return to the city center before the tour ends. Return in the vicinity of your Hotel.
