Thursdays and Sundays, through March 31st. Depart Malta at 7 AM, return to Malta at 9 PM.

Itinerary

Departure by 4x4 vehicles
An itinerary full of adventures which include 4x4 off-roading, cave exploration, horse-riding and lunch with typical dishes from the province of Ragusa.
The first stop is a typical industrial archaeological site. We shall visit some old tar mines used during the end of the 800's and the early 900's. Tar was exported world-wide to asphalt roads of major cities. We will venture down caves to approximately 60m.
Back on our 4x4's for a ride down to the valley of the river Irminia, which was once used for navigation, however today is merely a torrent surrounded by unspoiled nature. The ride will take us across country paths, muddy patches and flowing streams
We will eventually get to Lake St, Rosalia where we will stop for a lunch break in an agriturismo with typical dishes from the province of Ragusa.
After lunch it is possible to go horseback riding by the lakeside. Back on the 4x4's for our final destination, Ragusa, with a stop of about 7 and a half hours at Ragusa Ibla where we return our 4x4
Depart for Ragusa Ibla.
