Alcantara and Around Etna

Our excursion will take you first to the Alcantara Gorges for a short visit. Entry fee not included. Afterwards to the mediaeval town of Randazzo where we take a special old train called “Circumetnea” going to Adrano following the foot of Etna. Then, proceed by bus up to 1900 mts Etna Refuge, South side. Optional ascent to the main crater area with authorized alpine guides, trekking or lunch on request.

Return to Taormina is estimated around 4.30 pm. (entry fees and lunch not included)

Departure from Taormina is at 7:00 am.
